Ethiopian Airlines celebrated the 1oth year anniversary of its air services to Stockholm at Grand Hotel in Stockholm on November 27, 2013.

The occasion was attended by H.E Ambassador Woinshet Tadesse, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Nordic
Countries, Mr. Bruck Alemtaye , Regional Manager Scandinavia, Finland and the Baltics, CEO of Sweden Airport Authority, Director Alliances and
Cooperate Partners of  Scandinavian Airlines Group, African Ambassadors in Stockholm, invited guests from different Airlines industry, Tourism
sectors and Media.

During the ceremony Ambassador Woinshet said that Ethiopian is one of the oldest and fastest growing Airlines in Africa that always strives to
bring excellence in the airline industry. She stressed the remarkable role that Ethiopian played in enhancing the long standing relationship
between Africa and the Scandinavian Countries.  She said the long historical relations between Ethiopia and Sweden goes back to the early 20th
century and urged the Swedes to utilize this deep rooted and longstanding relation as a gateway in harnessing Ethiopia's untapped business
and investment opportunities. She said Ethiopia has registered a double digit economic growth for the last ten years and the presence of stable
political and investment friendly environment coupled with growing middle class has made Ethiopia a destination for foreign investors. She
reiterated that Ethiopia is rich with hidden secrets, historical locations that link ancient legends to a tangible present, and nine UNESCO World
Heritage Sites and invited the attendees to visit Ethiopia, a country of the cradle of humankind.

Mr. Bruck Alemtaye, Regional Manager Scandinavia, Finland and the Baltics, said that Ethiopian started the Stockholm route at the end of October,
2003 with a frequency of two flights per week but gradually increased to five. He noted that Ethiopian, Being a unique African Airline in
Scandinavia, grew over the past challenging and interesting ten years with the help of partners like Scandinavian Airlines, Star Alliance, Sweden
Airport Authority, Service providers, travel agents, and African Embassies in the region. The night was colourful with a wide range of Ethiopia's
dancing styles and music.
