A high-level Chinese delegation led by Vice Premier Liu Yandong on Sunday arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for a three-day working visit.
The visit is believed to further strengthen the existing friendship and cooperation between Ethiopia and China in sectors like health, education,
science and technology.
During the delegation's visit at the Addis Ababa University, Genet Teshome, Director General for Asia and Oceania Affairs at the Ethiopian Ministry
of Foreign Affairs, said that Liu would hold talks with the Ethiopian President, Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister during her stay in Ethiopia.
The latest visit of the Chinese delegation to Ethiopia has significant contribution in taking the relations and cooperation between the two countries
to a higher level, particularly in stated sectors.
The two sides are also expected to sign eight agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) to further the cooperation between Ethiopia
and China, reports suggest.
